50+ Power Points! The magic number I believe needed to achieve an NJSIAA Playoff berth this year in the North Jersey 2 – Group 4.

After four games, the Woodbridge Barrons have 9 PP’s. Not many, but not so few that a playoff berth isn’t still viable. There is no way to sugar coat it. With four games still to play, the mantra has to be “Run the Table”, and that starts this Friday night against the Edison Eagles.

Here is how I see the Barrons gathering those 50+ PP’s.

Edison (1-2) 9+ PP’s

JP Stevens (2-1) 10+ PP’s

Old Bridge (1-2) 9+ PP’s

South Brunswick (1-3) 9+ PP’s

Now do the math. Add our PP total plus the next four opponents PP total. The way I figure, the answer is 46. But wait you say! Isn’t the magic number 50+? Why yes, it is! But if you accomplish the goal of “Running the Table”, we will also receive an additional PP for every win these four team, plus PCTI, record. My guess is 6-8. That would give us somewhere in the range of 52 to 54 PP’s, and a potential NJSIAA Playoff berth.

5-3 is now the goal! One play at a time! One game at a time! Play, Defend, Score! Time to snap up, and deliver!
